What is Graphic Design for? -what function does it perform and what problem is it trying to solve.
Who is Graphic Design for? -who is the potential audience or audiences? Who is meant to 'get it' and who isn't?
Where is Graphic Design found? - where is it meant to be seen? In what situation or at what scale? How is the audience supposed to receive it and are they meant to interact with it?
FILM AND MEDIA
A small selection of film posters I like. I think the aspects of design that draw me towards wanting to produce within this field of design, is the versatility and wide range of medias and styles that can be used. All of these range from illustration, graphically produced, photography. They also include type, I like combining type with image.
